I like the second half of the book much than the first half At first, I thought it was going to be a relatively science story about the whale And then, when it came to chapter 3, the story of Leonora randomly came up Chapter 4 came back to the whale chapter 5 was about Leonora again chapter 6 talked about the whale chapter 7 went back to Leonora I was just so confused at first because I couldn t see any connection between whale 52 and Leonora.At the end of chapter 7, Leonora thought I wish I cou [...]

Jamison, in 52 Blue, starts strongly with an enticing introductory chapter It includes an adequate amount of mystery to the whale s story as well as setting the scene of the whale s discovery Additionally, Leonora s introduction in Chapter Three is heartfelt and forces the reader to want to know how her story fits in with that of the unique whale With such a strong set up, Jamison makes promises to deliver answers The rest of 52 Blue, however, fails to deliver such promises The story gets muddle [...]
