  1. This is a continuation of the Virgin River series Sean and Franci s story is ok I don t happen to like the wild boy roped in by fatherhood trope but it s pretty good here The back half of the book is focused on Maureen and George Maureen is the Riordan matriarch I didn t care for George at allI found him presumptuous and bullying I also feel like the implication was that Maureen needed life mansplained to her which was offensive.I have a personal quibble with anyone who tries to write baby talk [...]

  2. While each book is stand alone, the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr is genious at keeping the reader caught up on the neighbors and main characters from prior books in the series and in developing the storyline for the next installment Just like in real life and in a real town, there is than one thing going on at a time If this is not your style of reading, fine, but you are missing out by swearing off prior or future books in this series That is, of course, your complete prerogative and doesn [...]

  3. So boring The first and last book I ll read by this author Sean and Franci s story is unbelievable and could have been told in about 100 pages The entire book is about other characters and their stories and nothing I read made me want to read previous or future books in this series Most of the revolves around Sean s prude of a mother I didn t find her endearing at all and while I m 45 and dealing with menopause I just didn t need to hear I listened to most of this book on Audible an entire conve [...]

  4. I am honestly in love with the Virgin River series of books and this one is no different I literally could not put the book down Just awesome storytelling from Robyn Carr I highly recommend these books, especially if you re interested in some passionate love story, amazing community spirit, love of family and friends and just everyone being their brother s keeper.

  5. The baby talk is downright obnoxious Takes so much away from the story I have been reading several of these books, the idea that two parents with a child have to get married every single time has gotten really old I love the town, and how connected everyone is But it s almost like reading the same story and every book Change it up some Have divorced parents coparent Have some pregnant women decide to abort or place for adoption Ease up on every other character being military.

  6. I get so wrapped up in Robyn Carr s Virgin River characters, each book just gets better While these stories can be somewhat predictable, there is far realistic drama, unexpected plot twists and family dysfunction than in a Hallmark movie If you are watching the series you will find many things in the books that are different or have yet to appear in Season 1 and 2 I highly recommend getting lost in Virgin River books, you won t be disappointed

  7. I hadnt expected so many of the past characters and a new one or twoto be fully included in this book.Quite often i was laughing out loud for minutes at a timed then relating to a particular attitude that i have known was within myselfand laughed againenjoy your read too

  8. This is my favorite Robyn Carr book of the Virgin River series Franci Duncan and Sean Riordan, air force sweethearts, are estranged They come together three and half years later Sean discovers Franci s red headed, green eyed daughter looks too much like the Riordan clan to not be his child This is a sweet, endearing read, with a cute kid I keep it on my Kindle just to re read the hilarious part where Franci defends Sean in the grocery store You will laugh as he lies on the floor among the melons [...]

  9. Another good read, I love this series of books The characterisation is good and the storylines are really interesting Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

  10. Another visit through the caring, funny, loving characters of virgin river Carr s ability to run others storylines along side the main make it all the most interesting
