  1. Interesting read, a bit of Twilight Zone meets Emily Dickinson s Because I Could Not Stop For Death, He Kindly Stopped For Me If not for the author, this would not be a story I could see myself purchasing, but Mr King stole my heart many a year ago I recommend his followers or anyone who wants to experience a bit of terror to go back and read The Dead Zone does King have a crystal ball Copyright I think late 70 s, great stand alone book my top 3 , but with current politics electoral events, I se [...]

  2. Look at me, Evers said I m on TV, therefore I exist Stephen King, A Face in the CrowdThis was a creepy little read I d been wanting to check this one out for a long time but did not have an E reader Luckily that has changed. So I was pulled in immediately And this is the type of King that I love.rie rather then gory or outright in your face scary.I kind of felt like I was watching an episode of the twilight zone Remember that wonderful show I loved it as a kid Used to watch it all the time And th [...]

  3. Too many people are comparing a very short story to King s Masterpieces Relax and enjoy the book I thought about growing older and wanting to see those that I ve lost again King kind of explores that fantasy and makes you realize what getting older is like I m the youngest of nine children and I ve seen so many family and friends pass so this short story hit home for me.

  4. I know Stephen King and Stewart O nan wrote A Face in the Crowd as I short story, but I was a bit disappointed in the fact it was a short story Instead of explaining here, I will wait for one of the three sections Check it out.The Ugly I really hate to say it, but yes, the fact it is a short story is what hurt this book, and the reason I gave it a 3 out of 5 There just seemed to be on the table than what was in the book I don t know about anyone else, but I craved for here. The Bad The reason I c [...]

  5. A widower fancies that he can see faces from his past in televised baseball games Perhaps for King completists, this is nevertheless a melancholy and effective stand alone story that doesn t require a knowledge love of baseball for it to work we ve all got regrets, after all.

  6. Widower Dean Evers sits at home alone watching a baseball game on the TV Suddenly, he inexplicably begins to see faces from his past within the stadium crowd Faces of people he knows have died this causes him to reminisce and, in some cases, regret how he treated those people when they were alive An enjoyable short story with cleverly placed humour.
