  1. JD Robb s books are always good The futuristic angle is enough to make the story just a little different than what we consider normal, to give the plot a boost, and the storyline taking place in the future gives the outlandish aspect believability than it otherwise would have The characters and their motivations, however, are completely of the here and now There s no need to reach for this stuff because most of it has happened at some point, somewhere already It s a sad fact, that, but still tru [...]

  2. I love the In Death series I want to start by saying that. That said, this is one of the worst books in the series, it was sloppy and lazy Names changed, at one point Peabody became an officer again, it s not difficult to check continuity but no one bothered. And yes, it s a cute quirk of Dallas to get sayings wrong, it s even been discussed that she does it on purpose but NOT EVERY SINGLE CONVERSATION Once in a while was emphasis or quirk or whatever, but every single conversation with every sing [...]

  3. What a great book It s the premier of the Icove Vid and Eve is working on a triple murder There s one vicarious killer on the loose Will Eve and Roarke be able to take this madman down Roarke has has once again come up with a magnificent gift for Eve A thigh holster for her to carry her weapon under her long fancy dresses Leonardo designs for her How would anyone other but he think of these gifts for her For the answers to these questions read this the 36th book in the In Death series Highly rec [...]

  4. I gave this book 1 star for the Nora Roberts J D Rob we all read and enjoyed.I do not think J D Rob wrote this book because she is not illiterateShe has great adjectives to describe what she is writing about.Do you think profane words make a person sound tough they just point out how illiterate you are.You put something in Dallas s mouth I would not hold in my hands or want to step intoIf you like to read books that have profanely not much story this book is for you.

  5. I collect all JD Robb s books, and this is one of my favorite books.Eve and Roarke make progress in the books, for example, Eve is getting treatment without much defense, not like in the first few books they have to argue about the medication a lot,and I think that s a good sign because that means she actually consider Roarke s feeling and make some concession. And they are looking forward to Thanksgiving that they are inviting Roarke s family from Ireland to their mansion It would be very sweet [...]

  6. When accountant Marta Dickenson is murdered it initially looks like a mugging gone wrong, but something just doesn t quite add up for Eve and Peabody so they decide to take a closer look They quickly discover that Marta was specifically targeted but what reason would anyone have to kill a normal woman who just did her job to the best of her ability before going home to spend time with her family The deeper Eve digs the she starts to see there has been a cover up and it looks like someone powerfu [...]

  7. If you want a review of the book itself skip this one It s a review of some of the reviews though I just loved that the coat finally got a try out and the baby catching incident Having read some of the latest reviews of this book, I felt I had to put in my twopenneth I ve been hooked on JD Robb since picking up a copy of Naked in Death in 1995 when it first came out and when the name Nora Roberts only appeared under the copyright And then battling to get hold of the next book from the US in the [...]
