  1. Nora Roberts offers easy to read fantasy romantic novels for those of us who like to escape now and then Her trilogies are particularly enjoyable as you get the chance to follow different characters introduced in a book Each book in the trilogy focuses on one character and tells the story from their point of view, but still incorporates a familiar cast of characters Roberts also includes ghosts or mystical forces in many of her books and that can be quite interesting I do find her books to be a [...]

  2. Typical Nora Roberts trilogy format the women characters are well delineated and interesting, particularly the middle aged founder of In the Garden, the men characters less well explored which is typical of romance books although I liked the middle aged love interest for Ros very much a refreshing change from the standard 20 30 something men in this genre The gardening motif is a nice frame for the series giving a beautiful and complex background for the plot and action I enjoyed the first two i [...]

  3. This is such a great book, that I look forward to going back and reading these stories again like some of her stories that I already have, and now I find myself impatient to read the rest of Nora Roberts stories right now Hot, Hot, Hot, love scenes, a well written, creative and intriguing story about an old southern family and their ghost, an adventure to find out who she was and why the ghost called Amelia seems to throw a tantrum every time someone in the house begins to fall in love The entir [...]

  4. Nora Roberts is one of those authors where the first sentence grabs you and you must just keep reading She just has th as t way about her This was just one of her best stories I read it years ago and since the new technology came out, I had to buy it for my tablet Character development was phenominal

  5. To read enjoy The trilogy circles around a garden center set in Memphis, TNthe Harpers employees are close some live with Roz Harper at Harper House where there is a ghost who adores children But she is iffy abt adults downright hates men Each book is abt a woman how they work thru the ghost encounters to come out on the other side changed for the better.

  6. I love Nora Roberts I hated to answer the how would you describe questions that gave you a choice of answers that didn t necessarily apply Her books always have well developed characters, a dollop of the supernatural and the topic of this book gardening and the lives of a group of gardeners who, for the record, are far from boring and a resident ghost who likes to stir up trouble and who lives in the beautiful old mansion that belongs to one of the main characters While some of Nora s books are [...]

  7. The stories were excellent and I could connect with the characters I also liked that the stories wove the characters through all 3 books in a seamless way and the stories were not sappy romance novels You do have to read the books in order to understand the relationships between the many characters If you chose to read the third book without reading the first two, the richness of character development wouldn t be there.

  8. I like having the audio books all in one package I do find it hard to believe it is totally unabridged An entire novel on one disk, let alone three, well here s hoping Plus a standardized size will line them up on a shelf with either her books or DVDs The plastic case is definitely an upgrade over fragile cardboard.

  9. These books are actually quite small 105mm x 170mm so the print is also small and close together, which makes it harder to read but I suppose could be useful if you want to take it on holiday.
