  1. Ms Hannah is an extremely prolific author. In the last several books she constantly describes things as velvet velvet lake, voice, moon, skin, sky, day, blah, blah, blah.I find her overuse of this one word beyond annoying and a cop out.In the first chapter, she already used the same description twice Therefore, I requested a refund and Angels Falls was deleted I felt velvety I ve pre ordered her next book due out in February The first time I encounter her overuse of the sameword, I m going to reque [...]

  2. I loved Kristin Hannah s The Nightingale, so I thought I d try some of her earlier works Angel Falls is the second of her earlier books that I ve read, and let s just say her writing improved over time Angel Falls was published in 2000, which is important to know since characters have beepers instead of cell phones although I had a cell phone in 2000 The premise of the book is good woman suffers head injury and is in a coma for weeks Desperate husband seeks out her first husband to talk to her t [...]

  3. If this were any other author, I would have rated it a 3 star Kristin Hannah is one of my favorite authors, so I expect so much from her Nightingale was her best, but others were also very good This This was a sappy, predictable, love story and simply not believable at alla big disappointment Even the characters were not believable The son was supposed to be 9 10 years old and spent most of the book crying over his Mommy , sucking his thumb and curled up in his Daddy s bed with him Typical behav [...]

  4. I don t remember a book that touched me as deeply as this one. While I ve always loved Kristin Hannah s writing style I can t remember one of her books that touched me where I live and love.Thank you for reminding me that I DO live the dream the dream of growing old and watching our children raise children Thank you for helping me remember that our white hot first love isn t what got us through 50 years of marriage The love that lasted that long is the bedrock of life and reading this book remind [...]

  5. Kristin Hannah is a great author, and this time she is masterful in helping us see and grasp the essence of love in this touching novel She s done a remarkable job of gifting her readers with a believable narration that captures the most powerful and elusive force in the world almost impossible to explain except through experience and feeling.Angel Falls lays open a family s struggle to trust and recognize the strength of their bonds when unexpected tragedy abruptly interrupts a seemingly ordina [...]

  6. Kristin Hannah does not disappoint in this well written book This book is about the love strength of a family during a tragedy A great love story The true love of a wonderful man wins out over the passion of first love A very emotional read guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes Makes you understand that we need to appreciate what is important I highly recommend reading this book This is book that you will want to not put down

  7. I liked the characters in the book very much Shows the trauma something like this inflicts on the whole family not just the person injured However, I thought the end was a bit far fetched I won t say what about it seems that way, so as not to be a spoiler.Good read, as always, from Kristin Hannah.

  8. I m in awe of Kristin Hannah for her exceptional recent historical fiction masterpieces that introduced me to her, such as The Nightingale Her earlier work this one 2000 is less ambitious in some ways, but still excellent for what it is Angel Falls is a well written, believably characterized, emotionally perceptive and compelling family and relationship drama that keeps the pages turning That s certainly a worthy genre in its own right, and you are in good hands with Kristin Hannah Trying to avo [...]
