Author didn t interview people whose stories he told, including survivors, who actively encourage people not to read this sensationalized book because he didn t even bother to write about their experiences correctly Instead of interviewing them, he sourced data from news reports that were inaccurate Poor journalism But great if you love reading fictionalized accounts of real events Not so great if you think this fictional reconstruction is is based on facts.

It s hard to put into words the experience of reading this book I think the whole world knows what happened at Columbine but this book opened my eyes to so much information that I didn t know And it was hard to read Dave Cullen spent over 10 years looking into the events of Columbine, being one of the first reporters arriving at the school and needing to understand why, just why did two seemingly normal kids decide and plan for over a year to do this.This was such a heart breaking read, to reall [...]
